Glucose enters the cells through food, providing metabolic processes.<br \/>\nThe concentration of glucose in the blood is regulated by hormones.<br \/>\n\ud83d\udca1The hormone &quot;Insulin&quot; is the main controller of glucose levels in human blood, stimulating the formation of glycogen and triglycerides and significantly reducing blood glucose levels\u2b07\ufe0f.<br \/>\n\ud83d\udca1The hormones glucagon, cortisol, adrenaline, somatotropin, thyrotropin, T3, T4 (thyroid indicators) increase the glucose content in the blood\u2b06\ufe0f.<br \/>\nThe concentration of glucose in the blood is maintained mainly by the &quot;glucose-insulin-glucagon&quot; mechanism.<br \/>\nBlood glucose testing is primarily intended for diagnostic control and monitoring of treatment of carbohydrate metabolism disorders.<br \/>\n\ud83d\udea8To obtain accurate values, blood sampling is performed after preliminary preparation:<br \/>\n\u2013 do not change your diet for 24 hours before blood sampling;<br \/>\n\u2013 avoid excessive sweets in the evening;<br \/>\n\u2013 take the test on an empty stomach (without eating). You can drink water (without impurities!);<br \/>\n\u2013 do not take medications on the eve of the test;<br \/>\n\u2013 give up physical activity;<br \/>\n\u2013 stress resistance.<br \/>\n\ud83d\udccdThe information is for reference only.
