However, in a world where the need for rapid, accessible and minimally invasive tests is increasing, the role of blood microassays is increasing. In 2023, the WHO recognized the development of microdiagnostic methods as one of the priorities of primary health care, particularly in rural and hard-to-reach areas (WHO, Essential Diagnostics List).<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"883\">Microanalysis is a study of a small volume of capillary blood (from 20 to 100 \u03bcl), which allows you to assess a number of important parameters. It is used for express screening, monitoring of chronic diseases, and in cases where it is impossible to take venous blood.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"885\" data-end=\"944\"><strong>What indicators can be determined using microanalysis?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"946\" data-end=\"1068\">Modern laboratories and portable devices allow for a wide range of tests to be performed on a small amount of biomaterial:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1286\">blood glucose<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1286\">hemoglobin, hematocrit<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1286\">cholesterol (<a href=\"https:\/\/medilab.km.ua\/en\/analysis\/biochemical-blood-tests\/blood-lipid-spectrum\/cholesteryn-zagalnyj-cholesterol-total\/\">general<\/a>, LDL, HDL)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1286\">total protein<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1286\">C-reactive protein<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1286\">leukocyte formula (in limited quantities)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1286\"><a href=\"https:\/\/medilab.km.ua\/en\/analysis\/biochemical-blood-tests\/anemia-diagnosis\/ferritin\/\">ferritin<\/a><\/li>\n<li
