Let&#039;s look at the main aspects of prothrombin time and its importance in medicine.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>General information about prothrombin time (PT):<\/strong>Prothrombin time measures the time it takes for blood to clot with the participation of clotting factors, including factor II (prothrombin), factor V, factor VII, and others. It is important to note that PT can vary depending on the laboratory and the reagents used.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PT target values:<\/strong>Normal PT values are usually given in laboratory instructions and may vary slightly between laboratories.
