This dangerous parasite can cause numerous health problems, especially in children. Diagnosis of enterobiasis is an important step for effective treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal diseases.<\/p>\n<p>Enterobiasis is transmitted mainly through host-to-host contact, that is, from one person to another. The main symptom of this disease is itching in the anus, especially at night, when the live parasites come out of the intestines to lay eggs on the skin. It is important to teach children hygiene skills to avoid infection.<\/p>\n<p>Diagnosis of enterobiasis includes several methods:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Stigma tape analysis: This is the most common method for diagnosing enterobiasis. The uranus and the surrounding area are treated with a stigma tape. The tape is then removed and sent to a laboratory for analysis. If Enterobius eggs are found on the tape, the diagnosis is confirmed.<\/li>\n<li>Stool analysis: Sometimes Enterobius eggs can be found in the stool. This method also helps to establish the diagnosis, but it is less reliable because the parasites do not always pass eggs through the intestines.<\/li>\n<li>Skin scraping test: Some doctors may do a skin scraping test from the anal area to detect the presence of Enterobius eggs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>After diagnosing enterobiasis, the doctor prescribes appropriate treatment, usually anthelmintic drugs that destroy the parasites. After the end of treatment, a control analysis must be performed to ensure that the parasites have been completely destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>Preventing enterobiasis and other gastrointestinal diseases is also an important part of staying healthy:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Practice personal hygiene: Wash your hands thoroughly before eating and after using the toilet.<\/li>\n<li>Do regular cleaning at home: Thoroughly wash and treat towels, bed, and bedding, especially after treatment for enterobiasis.<\/li>\n<li>Develop personality: Teach children proper hygiene skills, including handwashing and washing.<\/li>\n<li>Protect yourself from your associates: Avoid sharing towels, linens, and toys with other people who may be infected.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Diagnosing and treating enterobiasis are important steps to keep your children and your entire family healthy. Remember that early detection and treatment of this disease can prevent serious complications and help maintain your health.<\/p>\n<p>Do not delay a visit to the doctor if you suspect enterobiasis or another gastrointestinal disease.
