World Tuberculosis Day

Every year, on March 24, the World Tuberculosis Day is celebrated all over the world. It was on this day in 1882 in Berlin that Dr. Robert Koch announced the discovery of this terrible disease, which still threatens each of us. If you think that this disease can never touch us, then this is not so. Tuberculosis is undefeated, it is among us, and every minute on Earth people suffer from it.
❗️ In the medical laboratory Medi Lab+, you can conduct tests that will help identify tuberculosis:
🩸 Complete blood count (CBC);
🩸 C-reactive protein (CRP) – refers to acute phase proteins of inflammation;
🩸 C-reactive protein (CRP) is highly sensitive – it allows you to detect the presence of inflammation even of a very low degree in seemingly healthy people;
🩸 Protein fractions – a decrease in albumin and an increase in alpha-1 and alpha-2 globulins occur in the acute process, the initial stage of the disease.
👉 The causative agent of tuberculosis is mycobacterium tuberculosis. The source of infection is sick people or pets. The main source of infection is a sick person.

– Give up bad habits that reduce the body's resistance;
